On the popular Warner Brothers show, Gilmore Girls, Lorelei is a single mother who raises her only daughter, Rory. This depiction of a mother that Lorelei plays crosses the characteristics of being a hero. Lorelei is a single mother who is able to develop herself into a grounded woman. Even though she has a child at a young age, she is able to look past the difficulties and succeed. She raises... (more)</description>
